THE SOLIDARITY TAXI

On behalf of the City Council, we would like to donate our thanks for your collaboration in facing this exceptional situation that we are experiencing starting from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Your gesture of solidarity, which adds to the many demonstrations of support that the different municipal services have received during these weeks, demonstrates the strength and social commitment of the entities, companies and associations of our city. It is a pride for me, as a mayor and as a Barcelonan, to see how this force is able to manifest itself in a special way in these difficult moments for everyone.

I am fully aware of the great concern and uncertainty that this crisis generates. Therefore, I am convinced that only now we will be able to overcome the enormous collective effort that is between everyone.

The group of volunteers are very satisfied to have been able to collaborate and interact with the girls at the switchboard and with yourself, who have always shown us passion and exceptional vocation to fulfill the requested services. And the taxi drivers, of course, who have always been attentive and willing to offer the best assistance in an altruistic way.

Thanks to all of you you have made our work a little easier, congratulations to all the great team you have, Rosa Mª, Laia and the rest with whom we have had the pleasure of working are the ones I have been able to meet, but I am sure that Behind them there are many and many more, and above all to that lot of taxi drivers who, being at the foot of the street and who have helped with their time to make getting to work and returning home much easier.
